Fandom and Fan Convention Survey

This survey has three sections – demographics, fandom participation and convention participation. The demographic information will be used to gain an idea of the survey sample and its representation of fandom. The questions in the other two sections will concern general activities participated in and preference. The purpose of this study is to gain a representative sample of fan preference for convention activities and how these relate to fandom participation. The survey can be completed in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
The information collected in this survey is confidential and anonymous. Your results will not be linked to your IP address or any unique information that could be used to identify you. Individual results will not be shared with anyone. General collective results will be available at the close of the survey, but all identifying information will be removed.
You have the right to withdraw your consent or stop participating at any time. You have the right to refuse to answer any question(s). Refusing to participate in this study will not result in any penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
There are no perceived risks involved in this study. There are no incentives for survey completion or participation.
